AEVUM reserves the right to request additional information when reasonably necessary to verify eligibility or the intended nature of an order.
AEVUM may refuse, limit, or cancel an order when eligibility cannot be verified or when we reasonably believe an order is inconsistent with these Terms & Conditions or the intended research-only nature of a product.
2. Research Use Only
Products designated by AEVUM as Research Use Only (“RUO”) are offered exclusively for lawful laboratory, analytical, educational, or research purposes.
RUO products are not intended for human or veterinary use or administration.
AEVUM RUO products are not sold, represented, or intended as:
- Food or dietary supplements
- Drugs or medications
- Medical devices
- Diagnostic products
- Products intended to diagnose, treat, cure, mitigate, or prevent any disease or medical condition
AEVUM does not provide medical advice, dosing instructions, treatment recommendations, personal-use protocols, or instructions for administering RUO products to humans or animals.
Purchasers are responsible for determining whether their proposed research activities and possession or use of a product comply with applicable laws and regulations.
3. Purchaser Representations
By purchasing a product designated Research Use Only, you represent and agree that:
- The product is being purchased solely for lawful laboratory, analytical, educational, or research purposes.
- The product is not being purchased for human or veterinary administration.
- You will not rely upon AEVUM for medical, diagnostic, therapeutic, dosing, or treatment advice.

- You will not intentionally misrepresent the purpose of your purchase or circumvent AEVUM’s eligibility, account, or order-review requirements.
AEVUM reserves the right to request clarification regarding an order and to refuse or cancel an order when information available to us reasonably indicates that a product may be purchased for a purpose inconsistent with its RUO designation.
4. Product Information
AEVUM makes reasonable efforts to provide accurate product names, descriptions, specifications, quantities, images, and available documentation.
Product images are provided for informational purposes and may not always represent the exact physical appearance of the product received.
Product availability may change without notice.
AEVUM reserves the right to correct errors, update product information, discontinue products, or modify product offerings at any time.
Product information provided through the website is intended to describe the product and its research designation and should not be interpreted as medical or veterinary advice.
5. Accounts
Certain portions of the AEVUM website may require customers to create an account before accessing products, pricing, or purchasing.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for activity conducted through your account.
You agree to provide accurate and current information when creating and maintaining your account.
Account access may not be used to circumvent age, eligibility, or research-use requirements.
AEVUM reserves the right to suspend or terminate an account when reasonably necessary to protect the integrity of the website, prevent misuse, investigate suspicious activity, or address violations of these Terms & Conditions.
6. Orders and Order Review
Submitting an order constitutes a request to purchase the selected products. Submission of an order does not require AEVUM to accept or fulfill the order.
An order is not considered fully accepted until AEVUM has accepted the order and, where applicable, payment has been authorized, received, or verified.
AEVUM reserves the right to review orders before fulfillment.
We may refuse, limit, place on hold, or cancel an order for reasons including:
- Product availability
- Pricing or listing errors
- Payment issues
- Suspected fraud
- Eligibility concerns
- Inaccurate or incomplete customer information
- Suspected misuse of the website
- Suspected purchase of an RUO product for human or veterinary use
- An order that appears inconsistent with these Terms & Conditions
- Legal or regulatory concerns
AEVUM may request additional information before accepting or fulfilling an order.
If AEVUM cancels an order after payment has been received, we will communicate with the customer regarding the applicable resolution.
7. Pricing
Prices displayed on the website are subject to change without notice.
AEVUM reserves the right to correct pricing or listing errors and, where appropriate, cancel an order placed using an incorrect price.
Applicable taxes, shipping charges, or other permitted charges will be displayed during checkout when applicable.
8. Payment
AEVUM accepts the payment methods made available during checkout or otherwise communicated as part of the ordering process.
Available payment methods may change from time to time.
Depending on the payment method selected, payment may be processed electronically during checkout or instructions may be provided after an order is submitted.
Orders requiring manual payment verification will remain on hold until payment has been received and verified.
AEVUM may use third-party payment service providers to process certain transactions. Payment transactions processed by a third-party provider may also be subject to that provider’s applicable terms, privacy practices, eligibility requirements, and transaction policies.
AEVUM reserves the right to decline, cancel, or refund a transaction when necessary to comply with applicable law, payment-provider requirements, these Terms & Conditions, or AEVUM’s order-review procedures.
Customers are responsible for providing accurate billing and payment information.
9. Shipping
AEVUM currently ships to U.S. domestic addresses only.
A flat-rate shipping charge of $11.00 applies to domestic orders unless otherwise stated during checkout.
For in-stock products, orders are generally processed within 48 business hours after applicable payment authorization or verification.
Pre-order products require additional processing time and may take approximately 10–14 business days after applicable payment authorization or verification before shipment.
Processing times are estimates and may vary based on product availability, order review, payment verification, carrier conditions, or other circumstances.
Customers are responsible for providing an accurate and complete shipping address.
Once an order has been transferred to the shipping carrier, delivery is subject to the carrier’s operations and policies. AEVUM is not responsible for carrier delays, loss, theft, misdelivery, or damage occurring after shipment except where otherwise required by applicable law.
Customers should monitor tracking information and contact AEVUM promptly if an order-related issue requires review.
10. Returns and Refunds
All sales are final, except where otherwise required by applicable law or expressly determined by AEVUM.
Due to the nature of AEVUM products, we generally do not accept returns or exchanges.
Customers should carefully review product selections, quantities, shipping information, and other order details before submitting an order.
If you believe you received an incorrect or damaged product, please contact AEVUM promptly after delivery so the issue can be reviewed.
Nothing in this policy limits any rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.
11. Certificates of Analysis and Quality Documentation
Where available, AEVUM may provide Certificates of Analysis (“COAs”) or other quality-related documentation associated with particular products or lots.
Such documentation may include testing results or other information provided in connection with the applicable product or lot.
COAs and other documentation are provided for informational and research documentation purposes and should not be interpreted as medical advice or as a representation that a product is appropriate for human or veterinary use.
Certain supplier-identifying or commercially sensitive information may be redacted from documentation for business confidentiality purposes. Such redactions are not intended to alter the analytical results presented in the documentation.
Documentation may be updated as new product lots or information become available.
12. Product Handling and Storage
Customers are responsible for properly receiving, storing, handling, and using products in accordance with applicable research requirements, product documentation, and laboratory practices appropriate to their intended lawful research activity.
Customers are responsible for maintaining appropriate storage and handling conditions after delivery.
AEVUM is not responsible for product degradation resulting from improper storage, handling, temperature exposure, contamination, or other conditions occurring after delivery.
Any storage information provided by AEVUM is product-related information and should not be interpreted as instructions for human or veterinary administration.
