At AEVUM, we believe research materials should be accompanied by appropriate documentation whenever available. Depending on the product and lot, AEVUM may provide Certificates of Analysis (COAs) or other quality documentation obtained from the applicable vendor or shared testing group.
Certificates of Analysis
Certificates of Analysis provide documentation associated with a specific product or lot and may include information such as:
- Product identification
- Lot or batch information
- Testing specifications
- Testing dates
- Analytical results
- Purity or other applicable test results
The specific information included in a COA may vary depending on the product, lot, vendor, or testing group.
Vendor & Shared Testing Documentation
COAs and other quality documentation made available through AEVUM may originate from the applicable vendor or shared testing group.
AEVUM does not represent that it performed the testing reflected in these documents unless expressly stated otherwise.
Documentation should be reviewed in connection with the applicable product and intended research application.
Supplier Confidentiality
Some COAs may contain supplier-identifying, laboratory-identifying, contact, or other commercially sensitive information.
Certain information may therefore be redacted before documentation is made available through AEVUM in order to protect confidential supplier relationships and proprietary business information.
Where applicable, redactions are intended to protect confidential business information while retaining relevant product identification, testing information, and analytical results.
Lot-Specific Documentation
COAs may correspond to a particular product lot or batch. Documentation may therefore differ between lots of the same product.
When a new lot is received and applicable documentation becomes available, AEVUM may update the corresponding documentation.
Customers should review the COA associated with the applicable product and lot rather than relying on documentation from a different lot.
Accessing COAs
Available COAs and quality documentation may be provided through the Quality & Certificates of Analysis section of the AEVUM website or through the applicable product page.
Only documentation that has been reviewed and prepared for publication by AEVUM will be made available through the website.
Important Research-Use-Only Notice
COAs and other quality documentation are provided for informational and documentation purposes only.
The availability of a COA does not constitute a guarantee that a product is suitable for any particular research application, nor does it constitute medical, diagnostic, therapeutic, or safety advice.
AEVUM products designated Research Use Only (RUO) are intended exclusively for lawful laboratory, analytical, educational, and research purposes and are not intended for human or veterinary use.
AEVUM does not provide dosing instructions, treatment recommendations, or guidance for administering Research Use Only products to humans or animals.
